Never have I ever...
Parties get pretty boring, right? Just sitting around, talking to people you may or may not know very well. I know! It's time for a drinking game!
Personally, my favorite is quarters. It's a fun game, and it gets you drunk pretty fast. Bar golf is pretty fun too. And who doesn't love beer pong? Do you play drinking games? If so, what's your favorite and why?

I think drinking games are one of the greatest ideas of all time...you get to play something fum while getting drunk at the same time!...and they're perfect for those who don't like to drink beer that often since in most you're only taking a "shot" of beer, more or less. Also, it's a good way to break the ice if you're at a party that you don't know many people, as well as a way to get the party goin if you know everybody. If its the latter, the games are that much more fun.
ReplyDeleteThe greatest, hmmmm...there's so many to choose from. I'm going to have to say my personal favorite is beer pong...you get to show off some tiny basketball skills, make a complete ass out of yourself when you do the psych - outs, and anybody at the party can play whether you like or don't like beer or you're not even a drinker...those cups can be filled with anything. Also, beer pong is such a personalizable (I know that's not a word but it works) game. I don't think I've ever played in two places that had the same rules...one bounce, no bounce, spinning blowjobs only, you get the idea.
A close second is asshole, great game if someone is sober enough to remember what all the cards mean. I like this one mainly because you can go in to the game not knowing anybody else and come out like you dated their sister.
Probably one of the best ideas ever. It definetly beats drinking alone and opens tons of doors. Whether your playing wingman (wingwoman) for a friend or going to a buddies house, the best way to pass the time is with a drinking game. Now I might not agree with some bars who host beer pong tables due to the fact that its pretty much setting you up for a public intoxication charge or disorderly conduct or some other small charge of the sort, but drinking games can create friends you never thought you had and can lead to couples...I'm a product of one. Beer pong, I would say, has got to be my favorite. Whether its beer, shots, or mixed drinks it is always fun and gets me in the mood to meet new people or conquer my fears of talking to hot women ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say that flip cup is probably my favorite. The great thing about it is that it's a team game with simple rules. It's definitely a rush to have your teammates cheering you on. It's fun to bask in victory together as well as support each other to push for another match if you lost. It's a great social game and the camaraderie is unmatched.
ReplyDeleteI played my first game of Beer pong senior year. I had been drinking since middle school though. I've always thought drinking games were silly - they make it into a contest and to see how drunk you can get. When I start playing beer pong (which typically isn't beer at all but a mixed drink or shot of some sort seeing as how i am not too fond of beer) I drink into excess. However, when I am just having a few drinks with a few friends I make responsible decisions and can control how much I am actually drinking. Having lived in Europe I didn't even know how to play most of the drinking games until arriving back in America in my senior year of high school. To this day drinking games are still a very silly concept to me and don't really understand them.

ReplyDeletedrink tequila=it makes her clothes fall off
Who plays quarters? I would say more a more relevant drinking game is beer pong or something with cards. Drinking games are good if you are aiming to get drunk quickly or if you and your friends feel the need to finish the keg you bought.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that drinking games are a good way to socialize. Especially if you are planning on socializing drunk whith a bunch of drunken people.
I love drinking games!!!. I hate beer pong, because I hate beer and no one ever wants to play Jack & Coke pong. I love quarters, probably because I'm so good at it. I like flip cup too, but of course with something other than beer, and than any card game, especially when there's a bunch of rules to remember...weird? Probably, but that's okay right?
ReplyDeleteCircle of Death. I even carry playing cards in my purse. Does that make me an alcoholic??
ReplyDeleteTwo words: Drinking Jenga.
ReplyDeleteI wrote on all of the blocks with a Sharpie different things like "drink 4", "give 3", and "waterfall". I basically put in everything from Circle of Death on there. You have to do whatever is on the block you pull and if you are the drunk ass who knocks it over, you have to finish you're entire drink. You may even catch me playing it up at Flanagan's on a Monday night...
i dont drink, but i love beer pong, i choose to play Diet coke pong hahah
